Glenn Frey and Don Henley left Linda Ronstadt’s backup band in 1971
to team-up with Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner and form the Eagles.

Don Felder joined The Eagles in 1974 and hastened their transition from the country-type sounds of the Leadon-Meisner years to the more rock-oriented era of Joe Walsh.
Together this highly talented group of musicians redefined West Coast rock.
