Elon Musk speaks about Neuralink, a company he founded in 2017 to develop a data transmission system between people and computers. “This is going to sound pretty weird, but ultimately, we will achieve symbiosis with artificial intelligence.”
Elon Musk’s newest venture, Neuralink, aims to bridge the gap between humans and artificial intelligence by implanting tiny chips that can link up to the brain. Neuralink’s ambitious plans were detailed for the first time on 16 July. Musk is hoping patients with severe neurological conditions will be able to test wireless technology connecting the human brain to computers as soon as 2020.
